Massage and Reiki have been pivotal in my process of finding a balance in this hectic world. All of my life I have searched for ways to improve upon myself for the purpose of helping others. After years of learning I have created a special healing modality called Reiki Massage that I wish to share with all.
 On this page I would like to tell you a bit about my journey into knowledge of the three major modalities that I practice, Massage, Reiki and Spa therapies. ENJOY!

I started in my first Reiki class at the age of 18. I was looking for answers because at this point I had suffered from many ailments that were not being healed from traditional methods. In the class I was told that part of the Reiki process was a 21 day cleansing of all levels. Again I was not to sure what all this was about so I took it with a grain of salt. I learned all about the Chakras, meridians, energy centers and so on. It was a wealth of information. The one thing that I took from the class at that time that was to change my life was the concept that humans ( plans and animals too for that matter) are so complex that our emotions and thoughts can cause sickness in our bodies. This left me intrigued and hungry for more. Reiki whetted my appetite for the Holistic life I did not know I was looking for. I left that day forgetting about the 21 day cleansing process only to find my self exactly 21 days from then moving to a new state with a different job and a whole new outlook on life.

For the next few years I learned all I could about energy and the human
condition. I trained in Kansas City with a respected Healer for a few seasons. The more I learned the more I wanted to know. The universe guided me to Dulles, Virginia next. I met a fantastic woman Reverend De Fano of Sacred Spiral Essences.  Our journey together started in
Dulles took us to Iona Scotland and back and is still going. De fanned my need to know everything for stones and vibrational and essence healing. I moved then to the Pocono's after going to  a workshop De had presented there at Collumcile.  After settling in to the mountains I took  Reiki II  Certification from De.Again there is a 21 day cleansing period and again I found myself changing rapidly. I did know to pay attention to it this time. At the end of 21 days I was enrolled in The Massage Academy of the Pocono's and managing the 4 Caesars resorts Mobile Massage team. After completing school I applied to take my national exam for massage. It was tough but I passed with High Scores in all area !! My NCTMB #519954-06.(Thanks to my fantastic Anatomy Teacher !!).
After Managing at Caesars I was suggested by my manager to a large golf resort as Spa Director. My hunger for knowledge and skills were quickly becoming recognized. In under 4 months I planned and opened an all organic spa. Spa Shawnee is my baby ;). I learned and designed all of the spa protocol for all of our treatments including a great Hydrotherapy capsule that I ordered. We also had and all organic salon. That was a super great time. I moved on after being recruited to run 2 massage clinics in New Jersey. After opening a second clinic and running myself ragged as District Manager, I decided that I was not where I wanted to be. Don’t get me wrong, I loved the people- for all my friends reading this who worked with me. I just was under a lot of stress and pressure- Not what a Therapist should be experiencing!I decided that Virginia was the place to go back to. After only a day of looking and applying various places I was called by Heritage Institute for a teaching position. I interviewed and now I am an Instructor! I have my Virginia License (see Below).Every day I learn more and go deeper into my art of Massage and Energy work! I LOVE IT! That is where I am right now and it’s just where I want to be.
